Melanie
Melanie began practicing Iyengar yoga in 2001. While studying the precision and alignment of the Iyengar style, Melanie became increasingly fond of the flow, dance, and emphasis of breath in Vinyasa yoga. After years of struggling with anxiety, she found that yoga provided a peaceful solace and a way to relax in the present moment while also improving her physical health, fitness and well being. Melanie decided that she wanted to share her love of yoga with others, so in 2008 she attended the White Lotus Yoga Foundation's teacher training in Santa Barbara, California. She continues to expand her knowledge of holistic healing, yoga philosophy, and anatomy.
